We operate one of the largest UK spare parts network consisting of hundreds of car dismantlers/recyclers ("Network Members") providing you with access to literally tens of millions of new and used parts for all types of vehicles at any given time, most of which are available for immediate dispatch from our Network Members.

All information made available to you through our Website ("the information") has been supplied to www.Car-breaker.com by the Network Members or other third parties that advertise with us, consequently whilst we agree to use reasonable care in running our Website we do not warrant that the information provided by our Partner Companies (set out in clause 6 below) is true, correct or complete and further we exclude all the conditions terms warranties express or implied, statutory or otherwise in respect of the provision of the information to the fullest extent permitted by law. We make no representations whatsoever about any other websites which you may access through our Website or which may link to our Website. When you access any other website you understand that it is independent from us and that we have no control over the content or availability of that website. When you request a spare for any particular vehicle through our Website then we may collect information about your vehicle and if you send us or our Network Members personal correspondence such as e-mails then we may collect this information into a file specific to you (together, the various purposes set out in this paragraph shall be known as "the Purposes"). 7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Warranty is provided by the Network members and not us. In some cases the warranty period may be more and you are advised to clarify this with the Network Member. You fully accept that we do not warrant, guarantee, endorse any parts or other products or services offered to you through our Website by our Network Members. Further, you accept that we are not a party to the transaction between you and the Network Members. Any contract that you make to purchase spares will be between you and our Network Members. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall have no liability whether in contract, tort or otherwise for; direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages including loss of profit whether caused by the supply of the services we provide through our Website or information set out on our Website. Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability to you for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.


8. Charges/ Condition of Spare Parts/ Returns

You will be pleased to know that the service that we provide to you through our Website is free of charge if you do not wish to recieve text sms messages. If you find a spare part that you are looking for through our Network Members and you want to proceed to purchase the parts then you contract directly with the Network Members. Our Network Members will confirm to you whether or not the spare they are supplying is new, used or re-conditioned, their charges including delivery costs and delivery times and warranty guarantee details. If you have any questions with regards to the spares then please ask the Network Members. Check and examine every spare part that you receive from our Network Members immediately upon receipt and again before installing/ fitting the same. If there are any discrepancies, markings, damages, false representations as to condition or quality then take this up with them immediately.


9. Copyright

You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in and to our Website is and shall remain the exclusive property of car-breaker.com/ or our Partner Companies or other third party licensors.


10. Miscellaneous

If any provision or term set out in these terms shall become or be declared illegal, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such term or provision shall be divisible from the other terms and provisions and shall be deemed to be deleted from them.


Service of any notice under this Agreement shall be deemed to have been duly given if it shall have been left at or sent by post to us at our registered office or in the case of notice to you at an address to which your provide to us or such address that we can establish form any details that you provide.


Any delay or failure by us to exercise a right or remedy shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall in no way affect our right later to exercise them.


11. Contacting the Supplier of the provided 070... Number


Callers who phone the suppliers contact number supplied with a part quote need to be 18 years old or above and have the full permission of the person who pays the bill. We will not be held responsible for any unauthorized use of your telephone to access our services as this is out of our control. Calls to the 070 number placing you directly to the supplier holding your part are charged at 50p per minute.


Promotions & Marketing


By agreeing to our terms and conditions you agree to accepting offers and promotions with marketing messages direct to your mobile from our network by sms, these are free messages.


12. Law

A person who is not party to these terms shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term set out here. This clause does not affect any right or remedy of any person which exists or is available otherwise than pursuant to that Act. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you hereby agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.



Stock and Availability


Whilst every effort is taken to ensure all items are available on occasion some items displayed on our website may be temporarily out of stock, generally these items will be removed from sale.



Complaints


We are continually striving to improve our processes and customer service, all complaints are analysed to further enhance our quality of service to you. In the unlikely event that you feel the need to register a complaint, please contact us immediately. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days. Security Policy


We uses Secure Server Software (SSL) to ensure that your personal details will be protected against fraudulent use whilst on our site. The encryption level used is 128 bit and ensures that we are the only recipient able to view your details once they have been decrypted on our secure server offline. Your details are not held in clear text on any website.
